I'm writing to show my support for a YES vote by the City allowing the Bozeman Taproom to have
an All Beverage License. There are already a dozen establishments serving alcohol within a block
of the school and there has been no harm to date. Due to the Taproom's support of a family
atmosphere I don't feel that the addition of spirits will have any negative impact on the
neighborhood. This business is not trying to be a wild nightclub like Pour House or Bar IX (which
are both a stones throw away from Hawthorne, as it is) - the Taproom is a chill, laid back place to
grab a drink and some food on your way back from the mountains or in lieu of hitting the bar
scene downtown. I don't believe that vibe will change with the addition of cocktails to their menu. Maggie Hickman
