I am writing in favor of approving the The Bozeman Taproom for an All Beverage license. A beer, a glass
of wine, and a mixed drink all contain the same amount of alcohol, so the prohibition of mixed drinks
will not reduce the alcohol consumption in the area, it will just reduce competition harming the overall
market for food and beverage establishments on main street. Furthermore, there are three other
establishments within a stones throw of the Taproom; The Pour House, The Zebra Cocktail Lounge, and
317 all of which have full beverage licenses, so the proposed restriction will only provide those entities
with an unfair advantage. I urge you not to restrict competition and allow downtown business to thrive.
