HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-07-10 52 S P E C I A L M E E TIN G ---~--~ ~----~.~~ 10 July 1967 The Commission of the City of Bozeman met :in Special Session pursuant to call by the City Manager in the City Hall Building, Monday, 10 July 1967, at 9:00 o'clock a.m. Present were Mayor Sedivy, Commissiner Morrow, Commissioner Langohr, City Manager Cutting, Ass't City Manager I Fryslie, Director of Finance Shadoan and the Clerk when the following proceedings were had: It was reported by the City Manager, that this Special Meeting was called to review pre- liminary planning for the budget for the fiscal year ending 30 June, 1968, and consideration of additional claims for the month of June, 1967. A general discussion was had of basic policies for the overall operation of the City Govern- ment. Activities for the past year were reviewed and planning for the new fiscal year and imme- diate future was considered. The Commission was informed in detail of the obligation and needs of the several departments and again advised of the continued inadequacy of operational funds that are provided under existing limitations of Montana Law. The Commission expressed general satisfaction with the manner in which the affairs of the City Government have been conducted. Claims: .._._---~.,~-~,- Claim No's 9483 thru 9516 inclusive were presented on the various funds as follows: General $ 3,462.96 Park $ 263.60 Street 173.36 Cemetery 38.62 Water 806~92 Garbage 23.91 SDS 5L~7.06 Parking Meter 110.55 I Library 375.34 Total $5,802.32 The City Manager commented on the claims and found them to be true and lawful claims against the City of Bozeman and recommended they be approved, and the Director of Finance be directed to issue warrants in payment. After examination of the claims in detail and checking against the claim register it was moved by Commissioner Morrow, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, the claims be approved and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Morrow, Commissioner L8ngohr and Mayor Sedivy; those voting No, none. Adjotln1'!1.En ~_=-m There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Morrow, that the meeting be adjourned and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commiss- ioner Morrow and Mayor Sedivy; those voting No, none.
