The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City
Hall Building. Wednesday. 29 March 1967. at 1:00 o'clock p.m. Pre~ent were Commissioner Langohr,
Commissioner Morrow. City Manager Cutting, City Attorney Ber.g and the Clerk.
Commissioner Langohr opened the meeting with a prayer and the following proceedings were had. I
Mi.nutes of the regular session held, Wednesday, 22 March 1967, were read and it WAS moved
by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Morrow, that the minutes be approved as read and
the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Lan-
gohr and Commissioner Morrow; those voting No, none.

It was announced that the Northwest Division of Music Educators National Conference is sche-
duled to be held in Missoula, March 29. ]967 thru Apri 1 1, 1967. In concurrence wi th the recommend-
ation of the City Manager, it was moved by Comm i s s ione r Morrow. seconded by Commis~ ioner Lsngohr,
the t Mayor Sed ivy be au thorized to attend the conference and that Connnissioner Langohr be design-
a ted to act as President Pro-Tempore of the Commission and the motion was carried by the following
Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commi~sioner Morrow and Commissioner Langohr; those
voting No, none.

This was the time and place set for public hearing on levying assessment for construction of

Notice was presentecl. No one was present to protest and no written protests having been filed.
Resolution No. 1321 was presented for final passage. T t was moved by Connniss ioner Lrmgohr, sec-
onded by Commissioner Morrow, that the resolution be finally passed and adopted and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr and
Commissioner Morrow; those voting No, none.

In compliance ~.;rith Chapter 16 of the Bozeman Municipal Code, the Bas fitter ~ond of J. W.
Tschache, Bozeman. Montana was presented. The City Manager stated the Building Inspector had re-
commended the approval of the ahove mentioned bond and the City Attorney had approved the bond
as to form. It was moved by Commissioner MorroW, seconded by Commissioner Langohr. tha t the
continuation of the bond be approved and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote:
those voting Aye being Commissioner Morrow and Commissioner Langohrj those voting No. none.

A letter from the Bozeman Camp fire Girls, Inc., requesting permission to hold a fund drive,
5 May 1967 was presented. In concurrence with the recommendation of the City Manager. it was moved
by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Morrow. that authorization to hold the fund I
drive of the Camp Fire Girls be granted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No
vo te : those voting Aye being :ommissioner Langohr and Commissioner Morrow; those voting No, none.

It Haq reported that Maynard Simenson and Judy Gleason have requested authority to attend a
Physical Educational Workshop for the mentally retarded to be held in Billings, Montana, 28-29
April 1967. The City Manager recommended that the request be granted and, it being in the public
in teres t, the necessary expenses of the trnvel be paid out of the Park Recreation funds. It W(lS
