Message: Dear City Commissioners, I am opposed to the proposed apartment building at Black
and Olive. I find the building inappropriate for the location. It doesn't blend with the neighbor
architecture. Second, parking will be an issue. Parking is now an issue for residents and people
going to downtown events. We parked near Olive and Black for the stroll. I believe every person
moving into the building will have a car. the apartments will be expensive. Only wealthy people
will move in. These people will want to go to Costco, to go hike in the mountains, etc. They will
want their own vehicles. I would also like the city to leave historical neighborhoods alone. No
high buildings. No accessory dwellings. They are historical for a reason. I know the area is
growing. But, I believe growth can be managed without disturbing historical neighborhoods.
Having smaller lot sizes for new developments is a possibility. Sincerely, Cheryl Eiholzer 3514
