Dear City Commissioners:
Our daughter, who is now at Bozeman High School, attended elementary school at
Hawthorne. We were quite disturbed when we saw that the Taproom had opened just across the street from the school she had attended. Especially with the rooftop seating looking
directly out at the school across the street. It has only recently come to my attention that they were able to receive their initial license and approval to build there as they surreptitiously
changed the address that they listed for the establishment. It may be a fine business, but it is inappropriate for it to be across from a school, especially as it opens each day at 11am. We
expect the Bozeman School District and City Commissioners to provide safe learning environment's for our children. Please deny the Taproom's request to the City for a conditional
use permit for a full beverage license.
