Message: In light of the rise in hate speech and hate crimes happening nationally at this time, I
would like to ask whether our City could take an official stance against hate and discrimination.
A public message stating that our city does not condone bigotry might go a long way right now
to decrease people's comfort with spreading hateful messages and to let our minority citizens
know that they are still safe. Thank you for your work.
