seconded by Commissioner Vandeventer, that the absence of Commissioner Lehrkind be authorized in com-
plisnce with Section 11-3245, R.C.H., 1947, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No
vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Vandeventer, Commissioner Vollmer and
Mayor Grabow; those voting No, none.

A fall meeting of the Chiefs of Police Association has been scheduled to he held in Missoula,
2-3 Nnvel11bcr and Chief of Police Johnson requested authority to attend this meeting. It .was moved
by Commissioner Vandeventer. seconded by Commissioner Vollmer. that Chief of Police Johnson be granted
authority to attend the meeting and, it being in the public interest his expenses be paid from the
General fund and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Comm-
issioner Vandeventer. Commissioner Vollmer, Commissioner Sedivy and Hayor Grabow; those voting No, none.

An Easement and Right of Hay Agreement for Hater Service from Edmund J. White & Bernice L. White
for the purpose of installing, operating, using, repairing, replacing, maintaining and removing said
Water Service Lines and an Easement andRight of Way Agreement for Sanitary Sewer Lines from Mike N.
& Elizabeth M. Steiner for the purpose of installing, operating, using, repairing, replacing, main-
taining and removing said Sanitary Sewer LInes thereto upon and across the above described property
lying within the Ci.ty of Bozeman, County of Gallatin, State of Montana, was presented.
The City Manager recommended that the City enter into the Agreements approved as to form by that
Acting City Attorney and it was moved by Commissioner Vollmer, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that
the Easement Agreements be entered into by the City and the Mayor and Clerk of the Commission be auth-
orized and directed to sign for the Ci ty and the Motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote:

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, DECLARING
IT TO BE THE INTENTION OF TIlE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, TO CREATE A
SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS SPECIAL IHPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NUMBER 518 FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF A PARK AREA,
INCLUDING CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF PATHWAYS, INSTALLATION OF PLAY-
GROUND EQUIP~mNT, PLANTING OF TREES AND OTHER VEGETATION, INSTALLATION
OF WATER LINES AND NECESSARY APPURTENANCES THERETO IN THE NE\I)' HYALITE

In concurrence with the recommendation of the City Manager, it was moved by Commissioner SediVY,
seconded by Commissioner Vandeventer, that Commission Resolution No. 1550 be passed and adopted and
that Wednesday, 8 November 1972, be the date set for public hearing and the motion was carried by
the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Vandeventer, Commissioner Vollmer,
CommissLmer Sedivy and Hayor GraboH; those voting No, none.

A letter received from Donald K. Heaver requesting the creation of a Special Improvement District
for the installation of Water, Sewer and Paving for Lots 15-17, Block 3. Lots 1-4 & 10-11, Block 4
and Lots 11-21. Block 5 of the Westridge Subdivision was presented.

spector had recommended approval of the bonds and the Acting Ci::y Attorney had approved the bonds
