Bozeman, Hontana 1 November 1972 The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, Hunicipal Building, 1 November 1972, at 1:15 o'clock p.m. Present were Mayor Grabow, Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Lehrkind, Commissioner Vandeventer, Commissioner Vollmer, City Manager Fryslie, I\SS' t. City Manager Keyes, ActinB City Attorney O'Connell and the Clerk. Commissioner Lehrkind opened the meeting with a prayer and the following proceedings were had. Minutes of the reg\llar meeting held Wednesday, 25 October 1972, were approved as read. Affidavit of publication of "Notice to Bidders" W<lS presented. It was moved by Comm- issioner Vollmer, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the bids be opened and read and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commiss~oner Vollmer, Commiss- ioner Sedivy, Commissioner Lehrkind, Commissioner Vandeventer and Mayor Grabow; those voting No, none. "National Retarded Children I s Honth" November 1972: Mayor Grabmv proclaimed the month of November as "National Re tarded Children I s Month" in concurrence \.;rith the request frOm the Gallatin Association for Retarded Children and expressed the hope that the citizens of Bozeman will respond to the call for support of programs for the mentally retarded. A request from the Sigma Nu Fraternity and the Alpha Orderon Pi Sorority for permission to conduct a fund drive as outlined for the Gallatin County Retarded Children on Saturday, 11 November 1972. was presented. It was moved by Commissi.oner Lehr1dnd, seconded ~)y COPlmi ss ioner Vandeventer, that they concur in the Mayors Proclamation as presented and that permission be granted the Sigma Nu Fraternity and Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority to hold the fund drive and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Commissioner Lehrkind, Commissioner Vandeventer, Commissioner Vollmer, Commissioner Sedivy and Hayor Grabow; those voting No, non('.
