Commissioner Vandeventer and Mayor Grabow; those voting No, none.
l) Orderly growth and development of the City of Bozeman, it is felt that providing
sewage treatement services for property of the Riverside Country Club would vio-
late planning principles because the property is located in excess of two and
one-half (2 l/2) miles outside the present corporate limits of Bozeman. I
2) The Department of Health and environmental sciences indicated that the City of
Bozeman should make plans for treatment of all raw sewage generated from the
Riverside Country Club when developing expansion of the Waste Water Treatment
Plant. If this official recommendation is accepted it will result in a major
change to the engineering planning for future expansion of the Bozeman Waste Water
Treatment Plant. This is true because it will also be necessary then for the City
to plan sufficient capacity so that all properties who are located so that they
may be served by the Sewage Treatment Plant of the City Also be given authorization
to connect to the City's Sanitary Sewer System. If an expansion program of this
magnitude is to be undertaken, then it is very probably we will need to propose a
metropolitan sewer district so that the costs involved can be equitably distri-
buted among those property owners who are to be benefited.
