Mr. Murray:

Please find enclosed one original signed form of Contract Change Order No. 1 for the
referenced project, along with the appropriate supporting documentation. The executed MRL
Agreement for the sidewalk crossing construction and maintenance was just recently received
by KLJ. I'll coordinate with Chris Kukulski to determine who at the City needs the original
document. Knife River has requested 33 additional contract days; however, we recommend
providing 13 additional contract days as described below. Please review and sign and date
this original form. Once executed, please provide one (1) copy back to KLJ, and please
provide one (1) copy to Knife River - Belgrade.

Sime remove/ reinstall sanitary sewer at flatter grade between Fridley and
Davis due
to encountered depth of some existing services.

Weather day for July 11tH
• (1) Day -
Hit unmarked gas service at Davis causing shut down.
• (1) Day -
NWE finishing replacement of gas main dresser joints in Davis intersection.
• (1) Day -
Additional work to extend curb Et gutter on Peach.

NWE utility conflicts at Peach and Fridley delayed installation of inlets and
subgrade excavation.

Weather day for September 23rd
• (2) Days
- Stop work on retention pond causing schedule conflicts between Knife River
and Sime and lost production
• (1) Day -
Additional utility work for replacing sanitary sewer service to 707 N. Wallace.
• (2) Days
- Delay in order/delivery of hydrodynamic separator due to easement
negotiations and unexpected temporary opening of Tamarack intersection.
