I like beer. I also love my kids that are 4 and 6. One is in Hawthorn and the other will be there
soon. IMHO, it seems like putting a tap room across the street from the school was not the best
choice. I was busy and unfortunately did not have time to voice my opinion on this in the past.
While I also appreciate how much work it is to get a business in place, I'm betting that the
owners of Tap Room anticipated issues being across the street from a school. Bottom line, for
me......I don't support expanding the liquor license to hard alcohol. I wouldn't have supported a
tap room across the street from a school. One possible solution to keep the situation a little more
low key would be to loose the roof top??
