Home My WebLink About1971-08-09 Bozeman, Montana 9 August 1971 I MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COMHISSION The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in special session pursuant to the call by the City Manage~ in the City Hall Building, Monday, 9 August 1971, at 9:00 o'clock a.m. Present were Mayor Langohr, Commissioner Grabow, Commissioner Lehrkind, Commissioner Vollmer, Commissioner Sedivy. City Manager Fryslie and the Clerk. The special meeting was called to discuss and set the tax levy for the year 1971- 1972 in accordance with Section 11-1406 (5) R.C.M., 1947. Commission Resolution No. 1479 - Tax Levy for 1971-1972 Fiscal Year: Commission Resolution No. 1479 setting the all-purpose annual mill levy at 57.5 mills for all municipal purposes in lieu of the multiple levies authorized by statute, which levy does not include any levy necessary to service and pay bonded indebtedness or judge- ment in addition to the all purpose levy as provided in Section 84-4701.1 and 84-4701.6 R.C.M., 1947, a tax of 3.0 mills on the outstanding General Obligation Bonds and a tax of 0.5 mills on the assessed valuation for deposit in the Special Improvement District I Revolving fund was presented. Following an inspection of the resolution and a thorough discussion thereof, it was moved by Commissioner Vollmer, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the resolution be passed and adopted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Vollmer, Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Grabow, Comm- issioner Lehrkind and Mayor Langohr; those voting No, none. Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the special meeting, it was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Grabow. that the meeting be adjourned and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Grabow.
