I received notification from my neighborhood association that the Black Olive Project DRB meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 9. I am very concerned that the developer, Andy Holloran, has the possibility to cancel this meeting right up to the very minutes before it starts, thus rescheduling it to Nov. 23rd. This is very unprofessional, and disrespectful of the Longfellow community members who are interested in attending. I feel it should be at least 48 hours in advance before the meeting is rescheduled. How else are parents with small children expected to reschedule child care arrangements? If this meeting gets cancelled only minutes before, I will need to find and pay for child care twice. Also, rescheduling to the day before a public holiday seriously compromises families who are planning to travel to be together with other relatives for this day.
