The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room. Municipal
Building, 31 December 1974, at 1:15 o'clock p.m. Present were Mayor Sedivy, Commissioner Vollmer,
Commissioner Vandeventer, Commissioner Taylor. Commissioner Lehrkind, City Manager Fryslie. Assis-
tant City Manager Wolf and the Clerk.
Commissioner Lehrkind opened the meeting with a prayer and the following proceedings were had.
Minutes of the regular meeting held on Thursday, 26 December 1974, were approved as read. I
Application for Beer , Liquor and Wine Li_~ens~
The City Manager presented the following applications and appropriate fees for Beer,
Liquor and Wine Licenses for the calendar year 1975.

Upon recommendation of the City Manager, it was moved by Commissioner Vollmer, seconded by
Commissioner Vandeventer, that they approve the above applications and the motion was carried by
the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Vollmer, Commissioner Vande-
venter. Commissioner Taylor. Commissioner Lehrkind and Mayor Sedivy; those voting No, none.
Pro~larnation - Alien Address Report Month
Mayor Sedivy, in response to a request from the United States Department of Justice, proclaimed
the month of January 1975 to be"Alien Address Month" in the City of Bozeman and requested that all
aliens residing within the City report their addresses to the U.S. Post Office or Immigration and
Naturalization Service during the month. It was moved by Commissioner Vandeventer, seconded by
Commissioner Taylor. that the Commission concur in the Mayor's proclamation and the motion was
carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Vandeventer, Commiss- I
loner Taylor, Commissioner Lehrkind. Commissioner Vollmer and Mayor Sedivy; those voting No, none.
Announce Appointment of Grant D. Murie - Director of Finance, Effective 6 January 1975
City Manager Frys1ie announced his appointment of Grant D. Murie, a native of Livingston, to
the position of Director of Finance effective 6 January 1975, to fi 11 the vacancy created by Wm. J.
Verwolf who accepted a position in Ketchikan, Alaska.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by
Commissioner Taylor, seconded by Commissioner Lehrkind, that the meeting be adjourned and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Taylor, Commiss-
ioner Lehrkind, Commissioner Vollmer, Commissioner Vandeventer and Mayor Sedivy; those voting No,
none.
