To whom it may concern:
I attended a community meeting at the Willson Building regarding the proposed development on the corner
of Black and Olive. I heard many comments from community members opposed to the development and
comments from the developer in favor of the development. After listening to both sides of the discussion, I
am writing to express my concern about this development and express my strong preference that this
development not be approved.
I do not believe that the site plans fit into the local neighborhood. I understand the need for housing in the
downtown area and support additional housing that is close to services and amenities. I do not support a 5-
story structure directly adjacent to single-family housing. It sets a negative precedent for our community that
will change the face of Bozeman and that cannot be undone.
