Special Meeting
The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in Special. Session pursuant to call by
the City Manager in the Commission Room, Municipal Building, Bozeman. Montana. 15 July
1974, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. Present were Mayor Sedivy. Commissioner Taylor. COmmis s ioner
Vollmer, Commissioner Vandeventer, Commissioner Lehrkind, Acting City Manager Keyes. I
and the Clerk.
Review Preliminary Planning for Budget for Fiscal Year 1974-1975
The Acting City Manager explained that this Special Meeting was called to review
the preliminary planning for the bU~e~ for the fiscal year ending 30 June 1975.
A general discussion was had of basic policies for the overall operation of the
Ci ty Governmen t .
Proposed Budget
An informal discussion was held on the proposed budget and the Acting City Manager
pointed out .ome of the salient features of the budget.
Salary Appeal by Police Department
Mr. Douglas Dasinger, Attorney for the Bozeman Police Protective Association, was
present to present to the Commission a request for consideration of additional pay for
members of the Police Association due to certain conditions which Mr. Dasinger fully
exp la ined . The Commission thanked Mr. Dasinger for his presentation.
Adjournment I
There being no further business to come before the special meeting. it was moved
by Commissioner Taylor. seconded by Commissioner Lehrkind. that the meeting be adjourned
and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being
Commissioner Taylor, Commission Lehrkind. Commissioner Vollmer, Commissioner Vandeventer,
and Mayor Sedivy; those voting No, none.
