AE2S, Inc.
THIS AGREEMENT is made as of this 15th day of September, 2016, between THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, a
Municipal Corporation, P.Q. Box 1230, Bozeman, MT 59715 (OWNER) and Advanced Engineering and
Environmental Services. Inc.. with offices at 1050 East Main, Suite 2, Bozeman, MT 59517
(CONSULTANT).
WHEREAS, the Parties have entered into a Professional Services Agreement dated August 24th, 2015 herein referred
to as Original Agreement for professional consulting services; and
WHEREAS, the Parties desire to further amend the provisions of the Original Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THE MUTUAL COVENANTS CONTAINED HEREIN, the
Parties agree as follows:
1. TASK ORDER A is added to Article 4 —Basic Engineering Services. Task Order A, Wastewater Collection System
Model Update, details specific scope and project related expenses necessary to improve connectivity between the City's
InfoSewer model and existing GIS layers.
Except as specifically amended herein, the Original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect, and the Parties
shall be bound by all terms and conditions therein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties hereto do make and execute this Agreement on the day and year first above
written.

Amendment No. I to Professional Services Agreement for Water Facility Plan Update.
TASK ORDER A
Scope of Services
The following scope of work describes additional services by AE2S and subconsultant, StreamlineAM, to be
provided under the contract between the City of Bozeman and AE2S for completion of the Water Facility Plan
Update (WFPU). Additional work has been detailed under current task numbers for the base agreement.
TASK 0 Project Management
Project Management tasks include:
• Contract Amendment Coordination and Development.
Assumptions/Clarifications:
• Schedule of Task A is independent of the completion of the Water Facility Plan Update deliverables and will
not delay completion of that work.
• Deliverables: No additional deliverables
TASK 1 Planning and Service Area Update
No additional work required under this task.
TASK 2 Water Use Characterization
No additional work required under this task.
TASK 3 Water Distribution System Model Update
No additional work is required under this task.
TASK 4 Existing Fire Flow Analysis
No additional work is required under this task.
TASK 5 Pressure Zone and Pressure Reduction Study
No additional work required under this task.
TASK 6 Capital Improvements Plan
No additional work required under this task.
TASK 7 Non -Potable Irrigation System Study
No additional work required under this task.
TASK 8 Water Facility Plan
No additional work required under this task.
TASK A Wastewater Collection System Model Update
• Document the attribute and connectivity needs and relationships between InfoSewer and the existing GIS
layers maintained by the City of Bozeman.
• Propose path forwards for integration dependent on the review of the dependencies between the two
systems.
Amendment No. I to Professional Services Agreement for Water Facility Plan Update.
• Build two FME scripts, one for audit of the GIS edited layers and one for producing output that can be
imported into the InfoSewer modeling software.
• Review and plan approach with City of Bozeman staff for results of the audit and GIS Model integration.
• Present final drafts of FME scripts, white paper and FME documenter for City of Bozeman Review. Final
draft may include GIS datasets, scripts, white papers, and audit lists.
• After responding to any comments, the final deliverables, including a summary document of the
methodology and changes to the datasets will be delivered on- site, including connecting the data to the
enterprise, and providing on-site assistance and mentoring to transition the scripting successfully to City of
Bozeman Staff.
Deliverables:
• Summary technical memorandum describing methodology and changes to the datasets
Compensation
ENGINEER will perform Task Order A at direct labor costs consistent with those included in the Original
Agreement. Additionally, reimbursable expenses associated with travel and deliverables will be billed consistent
with the Original Agreement as well. The total for Task Order A is $23,318. Compensation by Task is shown
below.
