MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COMMISSION

The Cornmission of the City of Bozeman met in spedal session in the Cornmission Room, Hunicinal
Building, Monday, 12 November 1973, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 11-718,11-2312 and 11-3207,
R.C.M., 1947. Present were Hayor Grabow, Cornmissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Lehrkind, Commissioner
Vandeventer, Commissioner Vollmer, City !1anager Fryslie, City Attorney Ber~ and the Clerk.

The purpose of the special meeting was to canvass the votes of the City and special election held
on Tuesday, 6 November 1973. in accordance with Sections 11-718, 11--2312 and 11-.3207 of the R. C .I~. ,
1947.
Tabulation of Election Returns

Under the provisions of Section 11-718, Section 11-.2312 and Section 11-3207, R.C.~~., 1947, the
Cit~, Commission assisted by the Clerk of the Cornmission proceeded to canvass the returns. The Canvass
showed that a total of 3610 electors voted. (40.15 percent)
The results of the canvass were as follows:

It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Lehrkind, that James 1v. Vollmer,
Carl Lehrkind, III, and Robert A. Taylor be declared elected Commissioners for a four year term bep:in..
ninp: 7 .January 1974, and that .Tames W. Vollmer havinp: received the larp:est number of votes be desip:nated
as !1ayor during the last two years of his term, and that the Clerk of the Commission be instructed and
directed to issue a certificate of election to each person elected and the motion vTaS carried by the fol..-
lowing Aye and No vote: those votinp; Aye beinp; Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Lehrkind, Commissioner
Vandeventer, Commissioner Vollmer, and !1ayor Grabow; those voting No, none.

There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by Com-
missioner Lehrkind, seconded by Commissioner Vandeventer, that the rneetinp: be adjourned and the motion was
carried by the followinp: A,ye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Lehrk:i..nd, Commissioner
Vandeventer, Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Vollmer, and !1ayor Grabow; those voting No, none.
