COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 4731
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN,MONTANA,AMENDING THE CITY'S ANNUAL BUDGET FOR
STREET IMPACT FEE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING DUNE 30,2017.
WHEREAS,the City Commission did, on the 201"day of June,2016, after due and proper legal
notice, conduct a public hearing and adopt a municipal budget for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 (Fiscal Year
2017); and
WHEREAS, the need to change the projects and amounts approved in the Fiscal Year 2017
budget for Street Impact Fee funding now exists; and
WHEREAS,these changes were presented to and discussed by the City's Impact Fee Advisory
Committee on September 15, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission did, on the 3rd day of October, 2016, after due and proper
legal notice, conduct a public hearing on proposed amending the municipal budget.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, to wit:
Section 1 —Appropriation Changes
The City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby authorize the following
changes to expenditures in the Street Impact Fee Fund:
Additions: These projects and amounts are added to the FY17 budget.
SIF 077—Graf Street Extension(added dollars) $1,120,000
SIF 095 —N. 2711i Street—construction $350,000
SIF 099—N. 27th Street—design $52,500
SIF 107—Fowler Right-of-Way $800,000
Reduction: This project and amount will be removed from the FY17 budget.
SIF 103 —S. 11th Avenue—design ($396,000)

Total Appropriations Changes: $1,926,500
Section 2—Use of Cash on Hand in the Street Impact Fee Fund
The increased appropriation will be funded with cash on hand in the Street Impact Fee Fund.
Section 3
Pursuant to Section 7-6-4030, M.C.A., this resolution, upon its passage, shall be in full force
and effect on July 1, 2016.
Section 4
That should it be found by any court of competent jurisdiction that any section, clause,portion,
sentence, word, or phrase of this resolution is deemed to be contrary to any existing law or regulations,
that in this instance, it is the intent of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, that all
other portions, sections,words, clauses,phrases, or paragraphs of this document shall remain in full force
and effect.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at a
regular session thereof held on the 3rd day of October,2016.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR BUDGET AMENDMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-6-4021, Montana Code
Annotated, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana may conduct a public hearing
on amending the municipal budget for Fiscal Year 2016-2017, embodied in Commission
Resolution No. 4731, at 6:00 pm on Monday, October 3,d, 2016, at City Hall, 121 N. Rouse
Avenue, Bozeman, Montana.
THE COMMISSION WILL CONSIDER AMENDING THE CITY'S ANNUAL BUDGET FOR STREET
IMPACT FEE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2017. THE NET
INCREASE IN STREET IMPACT FEE APPROPRIATIONS WILL BE PAID FOR WITH EXISTING CASH ON
HAND IN THE STREET IMPACT FEE FUND.
Copies of Commission Resolution No 4731 are on file in the office of the City Clerk, City Hall,
121 N. Rouse Avenue, and may be examined by all interested citizens.
Any and all interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and to submit testimony
in support or in opposition to the proposed budget amendment or to submit written testimony
prior to or during the public hearing. Written testimony can be submitted to the City Clerk,
