Subject: Sundance Board Votes to Realign Trail This Fall; Checking on Interlocal Agreement Progress
Hi Chris.
Thursday evening, October 6, 2016, the Sundance Springs Residential Owners Association (SSROA) Board
voted unanimously to realign the east-west trail that is north of the subdivision's Peace Pipe Drive
properties. This trail realignment is scheduled to be completed this fall. This work is moving faster than
we originally thought, so time is of the essence in getting an Interlocal Agreement between the city and
the county that allows city ordinances to take precedence for animal control.
Enforcement of the city ordinance about animals is a critical component to our subdivision's larger
picture approach of Education, Encouragement, Engineering and Enforcement related to animal control.
This Interlocal Agreement is needed now.

PS Just last week a woman was knocked down on this trail and unable to get up, possibly losing
consciousness, by a bike rider with a dog off leash. The rider knew the lady had fallen and just kept
going. This is not the first time this has happened.
