the city and officials have failed to deal with the growing
problem of plastic and other hard to bio-degrade waste
created by encampments along the train tracks and in the
*: forest.
join a team of volunteers to directly tackle the problem,
and help restore the forest back to Its natural state.
Time is running out,as the forest is already growing over the
trash,
and soon it will become mixed Into the soil, making it much
harder
for future generations to remove,
- We are looking for: people to collect and bag the trash,
a truck which can haul the bagged trash,and a dumpster to
dispose of it.
The first clean up site is aprox 4000 sq feet,and may contain
> over 500 pounds of trash.We plan to meet each weekend that
is not raining, and work as quickly as possible to remove it all.
