HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-07-14 268 Bozeman, Montana July 14, 1977 The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in special session in the City Manager's office, Municipal Building, July 14, 1977, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. Present were Mayor Sedivy, Commissioner MacNab, Commissioner Vollmer, Commissioner Swanson, Commissioner Vandeventer, City Manager Gesko, and the Clerk. Review Preliminary planning for budget for fiscal year 1977-1978 I The City Manager explained that the special meeting was called to review the preliminary planning for the pudget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1978. A general discussion was had of basic policies for the overall operation of the City government. Proposed Budget An informal discussion was held on the proposed budget as follows: l. Expansion of Sewage Treatment Plant 2. Study of water rates that have not been revised since 1967 3. Construction of the new Senior Center 4. Keeping under control the growth or development of the City 5. Fire and Police departments requesting additional help 6. Plans for the construction of a new library 7. Discussion on the purchase of a tape recorder to use at all meetings 8. Capital Outlay Adjournment There being no further business to come before the special meeting, it was moved by Commissioner Swanson, seconded by Commissioner Vandeventer, that the special meeting be adjourned. The motion was carried by the following Aye and No "Zote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Swanson, Commissioner Vandeventer, Commissioner MacNab, Commissioner Vollmer, and Mayor Sedivy; those voting No, none.
