Dear Mary Carson and City Commissions,
We live off Sourdough, south of Kagy. My wife and I routinely take our lives in our hands navigating the crossing
of Kagy on Sourdough, particularly as we take our kids to and from school at Longfellow or to soccer practice or
scouts. It is extremely dangerous to cross Kagy at this location due to the downhill trajectory of the west bound
lanes of Kagy combined with both the curve of Kagy and the brush that blocks views of the eastbound traffic on
Kagy. There is no effective alternative route to school for us and I know this situation will continue to get worse as
more and more traffic use both roads. I feel that adding a stop light (or a traffic circle) in a timely manner would
truly avoid a catastrophic event at some point in the future.
Best regards,
Eric Lammers
