Re: Proposal for Lucky Lils on Cottonwood
Dear City Commissioners,
We are writing you in opposition of the Lucky Lils proposed for Cottonwood and Huffine. If
Bozeman would like to see another casino, we hope it can be located away from neighborhoods.
The best part about our neighborhood is the number of kids and quality families. This will
breech into our current sense of security, safety, and community.
Casinos breed an unhealthy atmosphere and attract an unhealthy crowd. Especially in light of
the recent armed burglaries in Bozeman casinos, I hope this decision is not made without
consideration for the impacts on the surrounding community.
In addition to losing my sense of security in my own home and neighborhood, I am afraid the
good, quality families around us will move, and our neighborhood will change dramatically
and housing values will drop.
We appreciate you taking our thought into considering when making this decision.
