The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in special session pursuant to Call
by the Acting City Manager in the COminission Room, Municipal Building, Monday,
9 August 1976, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. Present were Mayor Vollmer, Commissioner
loehrkind, Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Vandeventer, Acting City Manager
Wolf and the Clerk.
The special meeting was called to discuss and set the tax levy for the year
1976-1977 in accordance with Section 11-1406 (5), R.C.M., 1947.
Commission Resolution No. 1818 - All-Purpose Annual Mill Levy 1976-1977
Commission Resolution No. 1818 setting the all purpose annual mill levy at 65.0
mills for all municipal purposes in lieu of the multiple levies authorized by statute,
which levy does not include any levy necessary to service and pay bonded indebtedness
or judgement in addition to the all-purpose levy as provided in Section 84-4701.1,
84-4701.6, R.C.M., 1947, a tax of 5.0 mills on the outstanding General Obligation
Bonds and a tax of 0.5 mills on the assessed valuation for deposit in the Special
Improvement District Revolving Furid of the City of Bozeman was presented. Also
included are Police Reserve/Training 2.0 mills, Health/Medical Insurance 3.0 mills,
Liability Insurance 1.0 mills.
Following an inspection of the resolution and a thorough discussion thereof,
it was moved by Commissioner Lehrkind, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that Com-
mission Resolution No. 1818, setting the total mill levy at 76.5 mills be passed
and adopted. The motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting
Aye being Commissioner Lehrkind, Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Vandeventer,
and Mayor Vollmer; those voting No, none.

There being no further business to be brought before the Commission, it was
moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Vandeventer, that the meeting
be adjourned. The motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those
voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Vandeventer, Commissioner Lehrkind,
and Mayor Vollmer; those voting No, none.
