SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COMMISSION August 8, 1978
Bozeman, Montana
The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in special session pursuant to Call by the City
Manager in the Commission Room, Municipal Building, Tuesday, August 8, 1978, at 7:30 o'clock pm.
Present were Mayor Sedivy, Commissioner MacNab, Commissioner Vollmer, Commissioner Swanson, Commis-
sioner Vandeventer, City Manager Gesko and the Clerk.
I Commissioner Vollmer opened the meeting with a prayer and the following proceedings were had.
Review Preliminary planning for budget for fiscal year 1978 - 1979
The City Manager explained that the special meeting was called to review the preliminary plan-
ning for the budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1979.
A general discussion was had of basic policies for the overall operation of the City government.
The City Manager advised the Commission that the budget for the fiscal year 1978 - 1979 would
be very little different from the previous year.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by
Commissioner Vandeventer, seconded by Commissioner MacNab, that the meeting be adjourned. The
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote, those voting Aye being Commissioner Vandeventer
Commissioner MacNab, Commissioner Vollmer, Commissioner Swanson and Mayor Sedivy, those voting No,
none.
