The Intersection of Kagy and Sourdough/Church is a fatal accident just waiting to happen. It’s a matter
of time before one occurs unless traffic lights or a four way stop are installed. We’ve lived in Bozeman
16 years, traveling through that intersection and are concerned that nothing has been done to mitigate
this increasingly dangerous situation.
Traffic on Kagy (east-west) is extremely heavy, especially when MSU is in session. It’s treacherous
gauging if we’ll make it across that intersection between the steady stream of fast coming cars. We’ve
witnessed several close calls this summer alone.
We feel this is one of the most unsafe intersections in the city. Please assign a high priority to the Kagy-
Soudough/Church intersection.
