I am writing today to request that you look carefully at the intersection of Sourdough and Kagy. I have
lived on the southside of town for over 20 years now and am getting more and more concerned for my
safety as I cross this road every day. Most days I have to wait at the stop sign coming from the south for
almost 8 minutes before and I can get across. At 5 oclock in the afternoon it is easily over 10. Yesterday
I was almost struck while trying to make a left hand turn as people wait so long to get through the
intersection they ignore the cars turning left. Sometimes three or four cars will come through and not
allow anyone to turn left.
I think that give the speed people drive coming down Kagy and the fact that Sourdough has become
such a main artery something must be done as soon as possible about this increasingly dangerous
intersection.
