Over the last 5 years, we have noticed a dramatic increase in traffic at the Sourdough/Kagy
intersection. There are almost always long delays in waiting to cross Kagy, but even more problematic
are the increased "near misses" that I often see as cars get tired of waiting on Church/Sourdough and try
to cross without adequate time. The danger of this intersection is increased in the winter with the slick
roads and the high piles of snow in the median which hinder vision.
Please update this intersection to a priority one for the 5-year transportation plan as a traffic light is
sorely needed as soon as feasibly possible.
