HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-12-03 206 Bozeman, Montana December 03, 1980 The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, Municipal Building, December 3, 1980, at 1:15 o'clock p.m. Present were Commissioner Stiff, Commissioner Mathre, City Manager Gesko, City Attorney Planalp, and the Clerk. I Commissioner Mathre opened the meeting with a prayer. Public Hearinq - Conditional Use Permit - Everett Egbert - construct a 951 x 104' metal structure for use as warehouse - to be continued This was the time and place set to hear Everett Egbertls request for a Conditional Use Permit, to construct a 951 x 1041 metal structure for use as a warehouse. Commissioner Stiff opened the public hearing. The City Manager advised the Commission that since there is not a quorum in attendance the hearing will be continued until December 10, 1980. Public hearing - Conditional Use Permit - George Popiel (Gateway Homes) construct 50' x 1721 addition to present shop facility - to be continued This was the time and place set to hear George Popiel's request for a Conditional Use Permit, to construct a 501 x 1721 addition to present shop facility. Commissioner Stiff opened the public hearing. There was no one present to discuss the request for the Conditional Use Permit. The City Manager advised the Commission that since there is not a quorum in attendance the hearing will be continued until December 10, 1980. Continued hearing - Conditional Use Permit - Ken LeClair - Townhouse Planned Unit Development south of and adjacent to Olive Street and adjacent to South Seventeenth Avenue - to be continued This was the time and place set for the continued hearing to consider Ken LeClair's request for a Conditional Use Permit. Commissioner Stiff opened the public hearing. I Glen Black of 608 South Fifteenth was present in regard to the request. Mr. Black feels there are too few straight residential areas. He does not feel there is a need for so many offices. Following discussion, the City Manager advised the Commission that since there is not a quorum in attendance the hearing will be continued until December 10, 1980. Public hearinq - Zone Code Amendment - Frank Seitz - (Chapter 18.48.010 - allow auto body shops as a permitted use in B-3 d1strict) to be continued This was the time and place set to hear Frank Seitzls request for a Zone Code Amendment to allow auto body shops as a permitted use in a B-3 District). Commissioner Stiff opened the public hearing. The Planning Director advised the Commission that the public hearing will be continued until December 23, 1980 for the purpose of acquiring some input from the Downtown Development people. Frank Seitz was present in regard to the Zone Code Amendment. Following discussion, Commissioner Stiff said the public hearing is to be continued for further discussion and a recommendation from the Zoning Commission. College National Finals Rodeo Parade - June 20, 1981 A discussion was held in regard to the College National Finals Rodeo Parade scheduled for June 20, 1981. The proposed route is from the County Fairgrounds, on Black to Lamme, East on Lamme to I Church, South on Church to Main Street, West on Main Street to Willson, South on Willson to Cleveland, West on Cleveland, to 8th and 11th where they will disband in the Ag. Building parking lot just off 11th. ~ 207 Adjournment - 1:45 p.m. With no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by Commissioner Stiff, seconded by Commissioner Swanson, that the meeting be adjourned.
