Message: If you adopt the vacation rental ordinance you will single handled shut down a
business that is recognized throughout the world. This knee jerk reaction would cause chaos for
guests who have already booked stays in Bozeman, and the owners of the guest rentals. There is
no proof that these rentals degrade neighborhoods. There is no proof that they effect affordable
housing. There is no proof that corporations are moving into town doing this business. This is not an issue ! Absentee slumlords are the issue ! Non code compliant basement apartments are the
issue ! Read the reviews of guests ! They LOVE vacation rentals !
