Message: Commissioner discussion of the affordable housing ordinance and its seeming
flexibility has been interesting. One has to wonder what, if any, helpful input has been submitted
by the construction industry and the lending institutions. Is it not curious that there are hundreds
of applications per year for building permits, yet not even fourteen applications conforming to the affordable housing ordinance? It's hoped that the deadline extensions will be successful in
