ORDINANCE NO. 1279
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, REPEAL! NG ORDI NANCE NO. 1080.
WHEREAS, the City Commission did duly adopt Ordinance No. 1080 on the 2nd day of
September 1981; and
WHEREAS, Section 7-13-4304, Montana Code Annotated, provides that a local governing
body may establish rates for its water and sewer utilities by ordinance or resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has determined it is in the best interests of the City to
establish said sewer rental charges by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN , MONTANA:

Section 1
That Ordinance No. 1080, as adopted by the City Commission at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 2nd day of September 1981, is hereby repealed.
Section 2
That sewer rental charges shall be established by resolution subsequent to the
appropriate publ ic hearing process.
PROVISIONALLY PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 10th day of April 1989.
