ORDI NANCE NO. 1267
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 1137, FIXING THE SALARIES OF THE CITY COMMISSIONERS AND MAYOR OF
THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 2.04.070
OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA:
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1137 be amended by deleting the words struck through
and adding the word underlined; that a new Section 2 be added; that Section 2 be renumbered
as Section 3 and changing the effective date therein; and that Section 3 be renumbered as
Section 4, all as follows:
Section 1. That the salaries of the City Commissioners and the Mayor of the City of
Bozeman be establ ished as follows: for each meetfI"l9-fl-ttel"lded week, the sum of $75.00 for each
Commissioner. The sa lary of the Commissioner acting as Mayor shall be one and one-half (1 1/2)
times that of the other Commissioners, or the sum of $112.50.
Section 2. That in the event of an unexcused absence from a Commission meeting, no
salary shall be paid for that week.
Section r 3. These salaries shall be effective :hj+y--l,--l983 October 1, 1988.
Section 3 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are expressly
repealed.
PROVISIONALLY PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION of the City of
Bozeman at a regular session thereof held on the 22nd day of August 1988.
