Message: Great article in Chronicle today on housing densities. I cringe when I look at Triple
Tree, Eagle Rock, Spanish Meadows, and Black Bull. If you could make all our new
neighborhoods look more like Valley West (a place where we tried to buy a condo/triplex), I
would be thrilled. On the AirBnB discussion, bear in mind that renting out extra rooms is a way to make housing affordable. We also have a sizable snowbird population; if they rent out their
homes while they winter in the south, that's more temporary housing on the market and more
people spending money in town. It's a shame to have those houses sitting vacant part of the year.
