ORDINANCE NO. 1258
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA AMENDING SECTION 18.66.010 OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE
ALLOWING' FOR AN INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS ON THE BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT.
PREAMBLE
I
The purpose of this amendment is to conform with State Statute, allowing six
members on the Board of Adjustment, rather than the five members currently
allowed.
BE IT ORDAI NED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana:
That Section 18.66.010 of the Bozeman Municipa I Code be, and the same is hereby
amended, to read as follows:
18.66.010 Created - Membership and term of office.
The Board of Adjustment is established to act on variance applications as detailed in this
title. The Board shall consist of fi-ve six members appointed by the City Commission for
three-year terms (with staggered terms). At least three members shall reside within the city
limits. All members shall reside within the zoning jurisdiction of the city.
PROVISIONALLY PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, this 23rd day of May, 1988.
