ORDI NANCE NO. 1247
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, ADOPTING BY REFERENCE PART II OF THE UNIFORM FEDERAL
ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS AS REQUIRED BY 950-60-201 (4) MCA.
BE IT ORDAI NED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, as follows:
That Title 15 of the Bozeman Municipal Code dealing with buildings and construction by
I adding the following:

That Title 15 of the Bozeman Municipal Code dealing with bui Idings and construction by
adding the following:
Document Adopted by Reference
There is hereby adopted by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, to
insure that any new buildings constructed with public funds are accessible to and functional for
physically handicapped persons according to the principles applicable to accessibility to public
bui Idings for handicapped persons that certain code and standards known as Part II, Uniform
Federal Accessibility Standards as promulgated in the Federal Register dated August 7, 1984,
and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as fully set forth herein, and
said provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
Section 2,
Severabi lity
I f any provision of this ordinance is declared unconstitutional, or the applicabi lity thereof
to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the constitutionality of the remainder of the
ordinance and applicability thereof to other persons and circumstances shall not be affected
thereby,
