MEETING DATE: July 11, 2016 AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Action RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Commission continue the public hearing to August 8, 2016. RECOMMENDED MOTION: I hereby continue the public hearing on application 15439, the Sundance Apartments Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan application from July 11, 2016 to August 8, 2016. BACKGROUND: This is an application for a conditional use permit and site plan and for the construction of a 215 unit apartment complex with parkland, opens space and related site improvements. The conditional use permit is to allow ground floor residential use in a B-2 District (Community Business District). The applicant is requesting a continuation of the public hearing to August 8, 2016. Public notice of the hearing was given. To maintain notice requirements staff respectfully requests this item be continued to August 8, 2016. UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None. ALTERNATIVES: The City Commission has the following alternative actions available: 1. Set an alternate date for the public hearing. FISCAL EFFECTS: None identified at this time.
