ORDI NANCE NO. 1239
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT DESIGNATION FROM AN "M-l"
(COMMERCIAL-LIGHT MANUFACTURING) DISTRICT TO AN IR-3"
(RESIDENTIAL-MEDIUM DENSITY) DISTRICT ON LOTS 6 THROUGH 20 IN BLOCK
50 OF THE NORTHERN PACIFIC ADDITION, CITY OF BOZEMAN, GALLATIN
COUNTY, STATE OF MONTANA,
I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
WHEREAS, the proposed zone map amendment has been properly submitted, reviewed and
advertised in accordance with the procedures of Title 18 of the Bozeman Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission held a public hearing on June 23, 1987, to receive and
review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone map amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission held a public hearing on July 6,1987, to receive and
review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone map amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed and considered the twelve zone change
criteria established in Section 76-2-304, M,C,A" and found the proposed zone map amendment to
be in compl iance with the twelve criteria; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has found that the proposed zone map amendment is in
accordance with the Bozeman Area Master Plan and would be in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN:
That the zoning district designation of the following described property shall be and is
hereby changed from an "M-l" (Commercial-Light Manufacturing) District to an II R-3"
(Residential-Medium Density) District:
A l,29-ACRE PARCEL OF LAND DESCRIBED AS LOTS 6 THROUGH 20 IN BLOCK
50 OF THE NORTHERN PACIFIC ADDITION, CITY OF BOZEMAN, COUNTY OF
GALLATIN, STATE OF MONTANA,
PROVISIONALL Y PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
I Montana, this 20th day of July, 1987,
