ORDI NANCE NO. 1225
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT DESIGNATION FROM AN "R-O"
(RESIDENTIAL--OFFICE) DISTRICT TO A "B-2" (COMMUNITY HIGHWAY
. BUSINESS) DISTRICT ON A PARCEL OF LAND DESCRIBED AS THE REMAINDER
OF CERTIFICATE OF SURVEY NO. 178 LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER
OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 11, TOWNSH I P 2 SOUTH, RANGE 5
EAST, M. P.M., GALLATIN COUNTY, MONTANA.
I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
WHEREAS, the proposed zone map amendment has been properly submitted, reviewed and
advertised in accordance with the procedures of Title 18 of the Bozeman Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission held a public hearing on August 26, 1986, to receive
and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone map amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission held a public hearing on September 2, 1986, to receive
and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone map amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed and considered the twelve zone change
criteria established in Section 76-2-304, M. C. A., and found the proposed zone map amendment
to be in compliance with the twelve criteria; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has found that the proposed zone map amendment would
bring the zoning of the property into compliance with the Bozeman Area Master Plan and would
be in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAI NED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN:
That the zoning district designation of the following described property shall be and is
hereby changed from an "R-O" (Residential--Office) District to a "B-2" (Community Highway
Business) District:
THE REMAINDER OF CERTIFICATE OF SURVEY NO. 178 LOCATED IN THE SE
1/4 OF THE SW 1/4 OF SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 2 SOUTH, RANGE 5 EAST,
M.P.M., GALLATIN COUNTY, MONTANA.

Montana, this 14th day of October 1986.
