opportunity, versus staying at a corporate hotel located near the interstate off ramps. Vacation
rentals add a tremendous economic benefit to our historic downtown usually within walking
distance. These properties add value to the neighborhood, with constant upkeep and improvements. Offering these accommodations allows the guests to experience Bozeman's finest neighborhoods, which results in return visits and high recommendations, The true danger to our
quaint downtown neighborhoods are the long term rentals that are neglected. As for
commercialization of your neighborhood, stop using the slogan " Bozeman the most livable
place" . I read Jim Goetz guest editorial in the BDC His message that Vacation rentals will ruin our neighborhoods is without facts. Show me that neighborhood that was ruined. Sincerely Robert Dougherty Robert Dougherty
