ORDINANCE NO. 1155
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AMENDING
SECTION 2.36.030 OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE; PROVID-
ING FOR THE MEMBERSHIP, MEETINGS AND OFFICERS OF THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC RECREATION.

The purpose of this amendment is to change the method
of appointment of the members of this board from Mayoral
appointment to appointment by the city commission as a
whole.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
That Section 2.36.030 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
2.36.030 Board.of public recreation--Membership, meetings and officers.
The city commission shall appoint the board of public recreation, which
board shall consist of five residents of the city who shall be qualified voters.
The board of public recreation shall hold an annual meeting on the second Tuesday
of January, at which meeting it shall select one of its members as chairman of
the board to serve as such for the ensuing year; and it shall hold such other
meetings as are required to transact business which mycome before it. Regular
meetings will be held on such dates as may be set by the board, and special
meetings may be held on any date at the request of a majority of the members of
the board, the city manager or the city commission. I
PROVISIONALLY PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, this 12th day of March 1984.
