ORDINANCE NO. 1149
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, ADDING SECTION 18.54.135 AND AMENDING SECTION 18.62.190 OF
I THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE, PROVIDING FOR A REVISION TO THE OFF-
STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR TOWNHOUSES AND CONDOMINIUMS IN
THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section l
That Section 18.54.135 be and the same is hereby added to the Bozeman Municipal Code to
read as follows:
18.54.135 Off-Street Parking.
P. U. D. condominiums may have one off-street parking space located within a driveway,
provided the following requirements are met:
I 1. That the driveway be served by a garage or covered car port.
2. That no more than four garages or car ports utilizing this stacking
arrangement may appear in a series without a distinct separation in
buildings and installation of a landscaping island. Said car port or
garages must be located within twenty-five (25) feet of the residential
unit they are to serve.
3. The garages or car ports must be individually marked with a permanently
affixed sign indicating the residential unit the stalls are to serve.
4. The visitor parking stalls shall be located near the ingress and egress
points of the development and shall be so marked with permanently affixed
signs reserving them for "Visitor Parking."
5 . The Property Owners Association Documents and Protective Covenants
shall contain adequate wording which will reserve the individual parking
stalls for the exclusive use of the residential unit they have been
designated to serve.
Section 2
That Section 18.62. 190 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
18.62.190 Number of Parking and Loading Spaces Required for Specific Use.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty days
after its final adoption.
