That is what is happening now with Business zoning being approved with insufficient parking requirements. Adjoining residential areas have lost property rights. I live in the 500 block of East Olive and vehicles from nearby B zoning line both sides of street weekdays, South Wallace has same congestion. This is not overflow parking from downtown. Neighbors and I have lost ability to have friends and family visit with out having to park a couple blocks away. The street parking is now designated employee parking for area businesses. Traffic congestion has impacted property values. High density is coming to Bozeman, question is how will it be done. The only entities benefitting from lack of parking requirements are developers and office building owners. The adjoining owners are stuck with congestion and a loss of property rights they previously had. One type of zoning district should should not able to infringe on the rights of an adjoining zoning district. David Lamer
