HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 82- 1112 Amends prior code § 3.56.100, gaming licenses 242 ORDINANCE NO. 1112 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AMENDING SECTION 3.56.100 OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE PROVIDING FOR A LIMITATION ON THE NUMBER OF CARD TABLES AND ELECTRONIC POKER MACHINES PER GAMING ESTABLISH- MENT IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN: I Section 1 That Section 3.56.100 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same hereby amended to read as follows: 3. 56. 100 Issuance Under Montana Card GamES Act--Fees--Payment Each person obtaining a license under these regulations for the operation of a gaming establishment under the Montana Card Games Act shall pay an annual license fee of Five Hundred Dollars. Each establishment paying this license fee shall be entitled to operate and conduct two card tables for the purpose of playin9 pan9uingue or poker, or one card table and one electronic poker machine. Each person desiring a license to operate more than two gambling tables, or one table and one machine, shall pay an additional annual license fee of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars per table. At no time, however, shall any establishment be licensed to operate more than four gaming tables or three gaming tables and one electronic poker machine. Such license fee shall be due and payable on the 30th day of June of each year. Failure to pay the license fee on or before the time stated shall result in the revocation of the license. Each person obtaining a license shall be entitled to operate additional card tables I to be used for playing bridge, cribbage, hearts, pinOChle, pitch, rummy, whist, and solo for amusement of the players and not as a gambling game for an additional charge of Ten Dollars per table.
