ORDINANCE NO. 1104
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AMENDING SECTION 11.04.755 OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICI-
PAL CODE PROVIDING FOR MAXIMUM FINES FOR VIOLATIONS OF
CHAPTER 11. 04 AND SPECIFIC MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM FINES FOR I
VIOLA TIONS OF SECTION 11. 04. 585 IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1
That Section 11.04.755 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
ll. 04. 755 Violations -- Penalty
(a) Except as provided in subparagraph (b) below, any person violating any of the pro-
visions of this chapter, or any rule or regulation made by the Director of Public Safety
pursuant thereto, shall unless otherwise specifically designated in this chapter, upon
conviction thereof be punished by a fine not exceeding One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
or by imprisonment in the city jail not exceeding thirty (30) days, or by both such
fine and imprisonment.
(b) Any person violating the provisions of Section 11.04.585 shall upon conviction thereof
be punished by a fine of not less than Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) nor more than One I
Hundred Dollars ($100.00) or by imprisonment in the city jail not exceeding thirty (30)
days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Section 2
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after
its adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, this 12th day of A pril 1982.
