ORDINANCE NO. 1095
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AMENDING SECTION 18.48.020 OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL
CODE PROVIDING FOR APARTMENTS IN THE B-3 ZONE AS A PERMITTED
USE IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
I SECTION 1
That Section 18.48.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
18.48.020 PERMITTED USES
I. Ambulance service
2. Apartments
3. Bakeries
4. Barber and beauty shops
5. Bars, cocktail lounges
6. Body 'shops
7. Churches
8. Conditional uses as prOVided in thapter 18.72
9. Dressmaking
10. Financial institutions
II. Fire stations
12. Hotels and motels
13. Laundry and dry cleaning
14. Meeting and lodge halls
15. Muffler sales and service shops
16. Museums, libraries, and galleries
17. Parking lots
18. Printing offices
19. Private schools, such as dance, business
secretarial and technical, but not private
or public elementary or secondary schools.
I 20. Professional and business offices (for personal services)
2I. Public offices
22. Repair services for clothes, dolls, small appliances,
watches, glasses, and such other items
23. Restaurants and cafes
24. Retail sales such as:
a. Clothing
b. candy
c. furniture
d. jewelry
but excluding heavy maChinery
25. Signs
26. Temporary buildings for and during construction, only
27. Theaters, except drive-ins
28. Uses customarily accessory to those li sted
29. Upholstering shops (excluding on-site upholstering services
of cars, boats, trucks and other heavy equipment)
30. Wholesale establishmentsthat use samples, but do not stock
on premi ses.
SECTION 2
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
days after its adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, this 3rd day of February 1982.
