ORDINANCE NO. 1087
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HOlEMAN,
MONTANA, AMENDING SEClION 18.48.02U OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL
CODE PROVIDING FOR BODY SHOPS IN THE B-3 ZONE AS A PERMITTED
USE IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
I SECTION 1
That Section 18.48.020 of the Bozeman Municipal Code be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
18.48.020 PERMITTED USES
I. Ambulance service
2. Bakeri es
3. Barber and beauty shops
4. Bars, cocktail lounges
5. Body shops
6. Churches
7. Conditional uses as provided in Chapter 18.72
8. Dressmaking
9. Financial institutions
10. ' Fire stations
II. Hotels and motels
12. Laundry and dry cleaning
13. Meeting and lodge halls
14. Muffler sales and service Shops
15. Museums, 1 i bra ri es, and gall eri es
16. Parking lots
17. Printing offices
18. Private schools, such as dance, busines~ secretarial and technical,
but not private or public elementary or secondary schools.
19. Professional and business offices (for personal services)
,20. Public offices
2I. Repair services for clothes, dolls, small appliances, watches, glasses,
I and such other items
22. Restaurants and cafes
23. Retail sales such as:
a. clothing
b. candy
c. furniture
d~ jewel ry
but excluding heavy machinery
24. Signs
25. Temporary buildings for and during construction, only
26. Theaters, except drive-ins
27. Uses customarily accessory to those listed
28. Upholstering shops (excludes on-site upholstering services of cars,
boats, trucks and other heavy equipment)
29. Wholesale establishmen~that use samples, but do not stock on premises.
SECTION 2
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
days after its adoption.
